OUR DAD

Passed away peacefully at Hull Royal Infirmary. Things all happened so quickly and we will all miss him so much. Im so glad he had his partner jo for the last twelve years who brought so much happiness to his life.

Dad the world lost a ray of sunshine the day you were taken from us.

We will never forget what a ray of sunshine you were, we miss you so much.

God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you
and whispered “Come to Me”.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

If tear drops could build a stairway And memory a lane, We’d walk the long road to reach, And bring him home again.

really missing you dad. Hit me really hard yesterday realising that you aren't here to give me away in september. Really wish we had both had that chance. There is going to be a huge gaping hole in my heart on that day. I think about you everyday. Give auntie joan a big kiss from me xxx xxx

We little knew that morning
That God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly;
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Can't believe it's been two years dad , miss you

My Dad

I remember riding on the back of dad's triumph one day. It was throwing it down with rain and he had these waterproof's on that were slightly split on one of the legs. So with the cold rain and the wind his waterproof's were slapping my cold wet leg. So when we stopped my leg was red raw.
He also always told me that sometimes he would forget that I was there behind him as I just when with the bike.
I guess it's silly but I also miss that stupid old bike as it was part of dad. xx

1year today you were taken from us. I Think of you everyday Dad.

It's hard to believe
You are no longer here,
We think of you,
You feel so near,
In some small way, every single day,
Memories of you come our way.

Love you always xxxxxx

I've heard roses grow in Heaven, Lord pick a bunch for me. Place them in my father's arms and tell him they're from me. Tell him I love and miss him and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for a while. Remembering him is easy, I do it everyday, but missing him leaves such an ache that never goes away.

Happy fathers day dad xxxxx

was just thinking of you dad

Dad...so many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.

What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.

What happened to all those times
when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened in my life
you could make my gray skies blue.

Dad, some days I hear your voice
and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning...it seems
the sound has been erased.

Dad, who will I turn to for answers
when life does not make sense;
Who will be there to hold me close
when the pieces just don't fit.

Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time
and once more hear your voice;
I'd tell you that out of all the dads
you would still be my choice.

Please always know I love you
and no one can take your place;
Years may come and go
but your memory will never be erased.

Today, Jesus, as You are listening
in your home above;
Would you go and find my dad
and give him all my love.
